Oregon Trip
Pines trees, Waterfalls, Mountains,
Rivers, and Coastal Waters

Multnomah Falls near the Gorge

Oregon is one of the most beautiful states we've visited - water, water everywhere bisecting mountains, hills, valleys, and edging long sandy beaches on the coastline.  It is the land of "waterfalls" made by both Mother Nature and also mankind.  The Columbia River Gorge and historic highway has many spectacular waterfalls in addition to the famous Multnomah Falls.  The city of Portland has numerous fountains gracing its parks and streets.

The western section of Oregon is full of pine trees on the mountain tops, along the rivers, and hugging the beach.  Evergreen color is everywhere blended with blue waters.  Clear days exhibit gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.

Visitors will find lots of fresh seafood, fresh fruits, Oregon wines and micro-breweries.  It is truly a gourmet's delight!

This state is also an outdoor wonderland and every sport imaginable can be enjoyed - hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, fishing, boating, sailing, snow skiing, water skiing, scuba diving, and windsurfing.  Or just driving around as we did while soaking up all the beauty.

If you haven't been to Oregon yet, place it high on your list of places to go and things to do and see.
